creating our poster
magazine
We followed a process when creating our poster
- found inspiration
- had a photoshoot
- selected our favourite
- picked a colour scheme
- sized the image to fit the cover
- found the 'Empire' text and edited it to fit and overlapped it
- put in extra text using photoshop
- changes sizes and positions of text until we liked the final text
- added extra shapes - to engage the audience
- then added a barcode, pricing and dates
- then saved a a JPG and printed it
Below are the layers within photoshop to show the process of our final magazine cover
Our first layers were of the background and main image
|
We then added the smaller text around the edge of the main image, followed by our trailer name and tagline
|
The title of the magazine was then added with the barcode, price, date and other small details.
